Before you start

Register with an email address you can access, confirm it using the verification email, and sign in to your workspace. Have the full public HTTPS address of your destination ready. Links to local networks and prohibited destinations are rejected.

Create your first link

  1. Open My links and select Create a link.
  2. Paste the destination URL, including https://. Add a private title such as “September newsletter” so you can recognize it later.
  3. Optionally enter a folder name. Reuse the same spelling for links belonging to one project.
  4. Leave the custom short code blank for an automatic code, or choose an available code of 3–32 letters or numbers. Codes are case-sensitive.
  5. Save the link, copy its short address and open it in a separate tab to check the final page.

Change the destination after sharing

Open the link in your workspace and use its edit form to update the destination. The published short address stays the same. Check the redirect after saving. Updating a URL does not update the text or image of a social post that already contains it; those are controlled by the publishing platform.

Pause a link or set its availability

Use the link’s availability controls to pause it, set an allowed expiration or resume it. Global and personal availability rules may limit the choices shown. Resuming a link does not remove an expired deadline or an administrator block. For printed QR codes, check the deadline before printing.

To change several links, select their checkboxes, choose a bulk action and review the preview before applying it. Keep a copy of any destination you might need to restore.

Read the first results

Open Statistics and choose a date range or a link. A click counts a recorded request to the short URL, not a sale or a confirmed person. Your own checks, repeat visits and automated requests can affect totals. Use the destination site’s analytics to measure what happens after the redirect.

If creation fails

Check the account’s remaining slots, the destination format and whether the requested code is already taken. An existing address cannot be claimed by another account. Do not repeatedly submit different versions if a request is still processing; first check your list of links.
